Antonia, a rising star...

Wild's lead, Antonia Clarke, continues to build on her roles in Skins and Holby City earlier this year. In September she featured in ITV's,  A Mother's Son, as Jess. More recently she appeared in the final episode of the highly acclaimed BBC/HBO drama, Parade's End. Currently she is filming for a five part ITV drama called Lightfields.

'Wild' selected to play and the Univercine Cinema Britannique festiva

'Wild' has been selected to play at this years Univercine Cinema Britannique - http://britannique.univercine-nantes.org/ - in Nantes. Currently last years festival details are up on their website, but once we have information on the screening time and location we'll put it up here.

The festival is a collaboration between Nantes University and the local art house cinema and draws in around 10,000 people over the course of the 4 day festival.

Goes without saying that we are very excited and proud...if last years selection is anything to go by 'Wild' will be shown alongside some fantastic British films.

'Wild' is in the Portobello Film Festival

"O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"

'Wild' makes its festival debut at the Portobello Film Festival at the end of this month. Portobello Film Festival is a great festival as well... critics quotes below....

"The wild side of Brit Film" (Metro)
"The biggest celebration of independent film in Europe" (The Independent)
"London’s biggest filmic free-for-all" (Time Out)
“UK’s biggest independent film competition” (The London Paper)
“As he takes his acting very seriously Justin Timberlake should check out the emerging talent at the Portobello Film Festival” (Evening Standard)
“London’s best loved film festival.” (Creative Week)
“Europe’s biggest indie film festival.” (Out magazine)

I'm a particular fan as they showed my first  film - and only film before 'Wild'! - back in 2003, so this seems a poetic way to start things off. More details to follow when I get them but all those associated with the film will be 'Callooh Callay' as well.

The Green Man Festival this weekend is going to be the scene of some wild celebrations - awful pun intended.

Antonia in Holby City

It was great to see Antonia in Holby City last night. Her character featured heavily during the hour long episode and, with a significant amount of dialogue and interesting story line, Antonia was able to show her considerable abilities....not easy to go from being drunk to worrying whether your dad abuses you in a single episode!

The Wild team are looking forward to the next episode to see where it all goes.
