Description:

Originally, this was Scissorhands Productions entry for 2014 Sci-Fi London's 48 hour film challenge and went by the name of 'Jury for One'. 

During the 48 hour film challenge, team Scissorhands had to to take a supplied line of dialogue, a prop and a title and weave them into a finished film. All writing, filming, editing, in fact everything that goes into making and finishing a film had to be done in those 48 hours. 

Title: Jury of One
Line: "Maybe I am missing something, but we can't just walk in and take it, can we?"
Prop: WE SEE A CHARACTER OPEN A BLACK BOX, WE DON'T SEE THE CONTENTS

We couldn't have done it without the stellar efforts of our friends, the Digneys, who crewed, scored, acted in and provided the location for the film!

Synopsis:

Edie, a little girl with a big passion for all things intergalactic, is desperate to communicate with life on Mars and when, out of the blue, she discovers a little green alien in next door’s garden, she believes she has finally been sent the sign. However, how can she convince the rest of her family when they say that aliens don’t even exist? If only the aliens would send her further proof.
